Stick Me Acupuncture - 45 mins

For times when the current physical pain  is greater than your fear of needles. Stick Me Acupuncture utilizes orthopedic acupuncture techniques, such as Trigger Point therapy, to illicit powerful muscle releases. Trigger Point Therapy

  • Orthopedic Acupuncture utilizes “motor points” or “trigger points” to release overactive & over-pressurized regions of body.
  • Trigger Point therapy is a more refined version of  "Dry Needling." 
  • Muscle "knots" that are left untreated  can be painful & debilitating, restricting the ease of  daily activities.

“Gua Sha” is a type of myofascial release treatment that removes adhesions & quickens blood flow

Cupping or Gua Sha

  • Both Cupping & Gua Sha are techniques of Myofascial Release to loosen up injured connective tissue for the purpose of improving blood circulation & to promote recovery. 
  • Once the areas of stagnation are dispersed, the aches & pains subside. 
  • This can be a stand-alone treatment.

APPOINTMENTS

  • All treatments by appointment only.   
  • Promptness is a virtue. This time is set aside for your wellness, please honor that by being on time. 
  • Cancellations are 24 hours in advance; otherwise, you will forfeit your booking deposit.
  • “No Shows” will be charged for the full treatment time.

FINANCES

  • Please contact me for Single Session pricing. 
  • Discounts available for prepaid 5-Pack & 10-Pack bundles. One year expiration.
  • Cash is the preferred payment. 
  • Credit cards, HSA/FSA Debit cards, & Zelle are all welcome. 
  • Add 4% swipe fee for credit cards & HSA/FSA cards. 
  • Note: Late cancellation fee is $50. Please reschedule 24 hours before your scheduled appointment to avoid being charged.

BOOKING

  • A booking deposit of $50 is collected when you make your reservation. 
  • This amount will be deducted from the final bill. 
  • Kindly contact me to verify your insurance coverage before booking your appointment as the booking fee will not be refunded.
  • Once confirmed, please print and bring in the Patient Intake Form below. 

INSURANCE

  • Acupuncture is increasingly included in health insurance benefits. Email me to check your coverage for acupuncture. 
  • I am an in-network provider for United Healthcare, NYSHP Empire Plan, & MVP. I am an out-of-network provider for all other medical insurances.
  • Unfortunately, Medicare will only cover acupuncture for low back pain when services are rendered at the offices of MDs, Chiropractors, PTs, & OTs. They will not pay for acupuncture from private practice acupuncturists. 
  • Just ask me regarding deductibles, co-pays & co-insurances, should you have further questions.
  • If you require an itemized receipt to submit for HSA/FSA reimbursement, I can provide one for you.
